Catering for Pickup & Delivery

Hopscotch Chicken's crowd-pleasing fried chicken, Itani Sushi’s impressive sushi platters, and Itani Ramen's beloved DIY Ramen Bar are just a few highlights from our catering menus. Available for pickup or delivery, each restaurant has catering options that are available in large formats like platters and trays, as well as individual boxed meals. Often we are able to accommodate same day orders, depending on quantities. Advanced notice is always appreciated. Delivery fees start at $50, depending on distance from the restaurant.

Full Service Catering

For our full-service, on-site catering experiences, Chef Kyle personally tailors a menu to each event. Full-service bookings start at $10,000+, which includes menu development, staffing, equipment, set-up, service, and breakdown. For events below this threshold, the pickup and delivery options outlined above provide a variety of delicious options.

Customized menus are great for birthday parties, retirement parties, holiday parties, company-wide lunches, and more. One of the many experiences available is to have our Yonsei Handrolls team roll on-site at your event. This can be a live handroll bar or a team behind the scenes producing handrolls to order, ready to enjoy immediately. The options are endless. Our Experience

Catering by Itani Restaurant Group is led by Chef Kyle Itani, a Bay Area restaurateur with over 20 years of experience and the founder of multiple successful restaurant concepts, with five currently in operation. Our approach to catering is simple: we deliver restaurant-quality food at scale, with a sharp focus on execution, timing, and guest experience.

We produce small events from 15–50 people in and out of our restaurants. For larger events, we have produced events ranging from 80 to 500 guests across Northern California, with experience at venues such as Fort Mason Center, Fairmont Hotel, Bespoke at Westfield San Francisco, the Kabuki Hotel, and Convene. Our team has also executed large-scale corporate events at Westfield Valley Fair, serving up to 1,200 guests per day.

Unlike traditional catering companies, our team is built from the core staff of our restaurants, not temporary labor. This ensures consistency in both food quality and service. Every event is approached with the same standards and discipline as a busy restaurant service.

We work closely with venue partners on logistics, including load-in, service flow, and adherence to house guidelines, ensuring seamless coordination from setup through execution.

We intentionally limit the number of events we take on each month so our team can stay focused and hands on. The result is a more refined, thoughtful experience that stands apart from high-volume catering operations. Chef Kyle personally manages and runs each event — the goal being to create an event that feels less like catering and more like a well-run restaurant service.
