In 2013 Hopscotch opened as an upscale American diner with a Japanese influencer. After 11 years of busy brunches, date nights, and holiday festivities, Hopscotch transitioned to a full service catering business. Chef Kyle’s beloved buttermilk fried chicken and a few Hopscotch classics are now available to-go from two of our restaurants - Itani Sushi in Berkeley and Itani Ramen in Oakland.
